Sriranjani presents Mylapore Festival Kutcheri

As part of day 3 of the Sundaram Finance Mylapore Festival 2015, Sriranjani Darbha (Guru: Smt Suguna Varadachari) presented a mikeless Kutcheri on Saturday morning at the Nageswara Rao Park.
Sriranjani presented songs that included Muthuswamy Dikshithar’s Sri Mathrubhootham ( Kannada/Misra Chapu), Thyagaraja’s Pattividu Varadu ( Manjari/ Adi) and Jayadeva Ashtapadhi’s Rathi Sukha Sare ( Desh/Adi)

carnatica gurukulam students present kutcheri in the park


Around 15 students of Carnatica Gurukulam (Guru: Smt Neeraja Badrinath) present the kutcheri in the park on the 2nd morning of the four day Sundaram Finance Mylapore Festival 2015.
The children presented songs that included Namam Nalla Namam (Valaji), Sundara Moorthy (Amirthavarshini), Pooraya Mama Kamam (Bilahari) and Oruthi Maganai (Behag) TK Seshadri was present on the occasion and handed over certificates to the artistes.

Mikeless Kutcheri kicks off 13th Sundaram Finance Mylapore Festival

17 students of Ganamrudha Music School (Guru: Dr. Chitra Madhavan) kicked off the 13th Sundaram Finance Mylapore Festival with a lively Group Kutcheri this morning at the Nageswara Rao Park in Mylapore in front of a big crowd comprising of music connoisseurs and morning walkers. As a dedication to Sri Thyagaraja, the children presented Pancha Ratna Krithis that included Jagada Nanda Karaka (Nattai/Aadi), Dudu Kugula Nanne (Gowla / Aadi) and Kanaka Naruchira (Varali / Aadi). TT Srinivasaraghavan, MD, Sundaram Finance was present on the occasion and handed over the certificates and mementos to the artistes.
