Vijaykishore presents Sunday Kutcheri


14 year old A. Vijaykishore, a student of DAV School, Adambakkam presented Kutcheri this Sunday (3 March) morning as part of the monthly Sunday Kutcheri in the Park organised by Sundaram Finance at the Nageswara Rao Park in Mylapore. Vijaykishore was accompanied on the Mridangam by K Sudev (Disciple of Sri Adambakkam Seshadri) and on the Violin by Parur M.K.Ananthalakshmi ( Disciple of Parur M.S. Anantharaman and Parur M.A. Krishnaswamy). Vijaykishore is learning music from Guru Vasanthi Gopal. Vijaykishore’s presentation included Sri Mahaganapathi (gowlai - misra chapu), Nadaloludai- (kalyanavasantham- roopakam), Dhanavana( thodi- adi), Velaiya (saveri- adi), Krishna Ne Begane (yamunkalyani- misra chapu), Eppadi Padinaro (aaberi- adi) and Narayanathe ( behag- adi). The idea behind the Sunday Kutcheri in the Park is to promote young musical talent aged below 15 years and to help them shed their inhibitions and give them the confidence to move up to the next level. Over 700 children have presented the mikeless Kutcheri at the Nageswara Rao Park. Sundaram Finance conducts audition to select the artistes. For registration:email sundaykutcheri@gmail.com
